The Dream Machine Study
How I scaled community and digital channels for a grassroots community arts venue and brought it to life with a 300-person music festival

"Rosie's marketing expertise guided us in our strategy, messaging and brand voice. We can’t thank her enough for the work she did in helping us grow our community."
- Matt Lygate, Creative Director, The Dream Machine

The Brief
As Marketing Director for The Dream Machine, a creative arts and events venue in Glasgow’s East End, I was brought on to grow the venue’s local audience and elevate its reputation as a community-powered space for creativity, connection, and culture.
The venue hosted music nights, AV performances, artist residencies, and ran a community café. My role was to build meaningful in-person and online engagement through grassroots outreach, social media, video storytelling, and campaign strategy. I also led partnerships with third-sector organisations and managed internal marketing systems across the team.
